If this ever posts, it’ll be a miracle. My internet…. well, my neighbor’s internet (shh)… has been in and out all day. These are the last pictures from the Nashville trip. Ya know, from back in November. Haha. Ughh. I just got them from Keiko. But I have all my China pictures to go through and put up, so I figured it’s better than nothing. There are so many things I need to get done and I just get overwhelmed and shut down. I have to make a huge effort to not let my lists and errands drown me. I read somewhere that you need to pick 5 things from a list and work on just those in one day. I was told the other day to just work on the two major ones. I wish it was that simple. I need to set up a work space in my room for working on the necklaces and headbands. I found a desk on Craigslist that I wanted. It needs paint and new knobs but the DIY wheels started rolling and my little heart got set on it. The woman said she has another potential buyer and that she’d let me know. So annoying. Just sell me the desk.
I’m going to attempt to pull myself away from the internet and get to Target. It’s just so hard with videos like this circulating. Pretty sure I’d react this way to several different animals. Holy awesome.
Enjoy!

I’m definitely posting more Nashville pictures as I sit in my parent’s condo in Florida. For as much as I love LA, I enjoy my little trips away even more.
Christmas is upon us and I’m so happy that I did my holiday shopping early. I only have a couple more gifts to get/make but the bulk of it is done and I’m stress free. Love this feeling. I get to see a couple of my best friends tomorrow, including Keiko and Jessica, so it’s already set to be a great day. I’ll also be making zucchini bread and spending some more time with my little Otis. I love Florida at Christmas time.
I’ve been in such a mood today. I have no idea why. I think it’s my level of productiveness… which is at about a zero. But my laundry is in the dryer and the Christmas lights are up so that’s a start. Only took me the whole day to get here. Oh well. I did get news today that I’ll be working a special Hanson event this weekend at work and to celebrate, I listened to Snowed In earlier. SO good. Don’t judge!
The rest of my evening will consist of Papa John’s pizza with my roommate, making some gifts/bows, and just organizing my room. Well, it’ll hopefully consist of all of that. Who knows. Today might just be a wash.
Unrelated note: These pictures are from Nashville and I would like to be back there right about now. Please and thank you. Thank God for my Florida trip coming up. I need a dose of my parents and Otis.

I love holidays and want them to be perfect and stress free. Unfortunately, things don’t always turn out how I’d like them to. Thanksgiving was one thing after another and I eventually just gave up and went to bed. Best decision. Just start over the next day.
I will say one thing though… I am beyond blessed and thankful for the people in my life. I have amazing parents and some incredible friends. I am constantly amazed by the amount of love and support that surrounds me and I don’t take any of it for granted.
On that note, I’m so happy that Keiko and I were able to take our Nashville trip (more photos on Claudia’s blog). I had the best time and everyone was so nice. Gotta love southern hospitality… and the biscuits. Can’t forget the biscuits… and fried green tomatoes… donuts… meat and threes… mac and cheese… Jeni’s ice cream…. the chicken sandwich at Silly Goose… dammit, now I’m hungry.
These pictures were taken in Claudia and Mark’s beautiful home while we were in Nashville. I fell in love with this particular room and took a few mental notes and actual pictures for my own home redecorating project (which seems never ending). Presley, the beautiful pup in the pictures, was the best welcomer ever. She gave lots of face kisses… the best were when I was falling asleep on the couch the first night and she sneak attacked me. What a little love!
Keiko and I adored Nashville and started looking up house listings online. It’s hard coming from places like New York and Los Angeles, with our smaller apartments and larger monthly payments, and seeing what you can get for your money elsewhere. They had a front AND back yard! I wished I was in jeans and my Toms so that I could just run around with Presley all day. We’ll definitely be back to visit and who knows… maybe even have a house there one day. Yard included.
