My friend called me two days prior to the Incubus show in Santa Barbara and said if I could get out of work, his other pit ticket was mine. I somehow managed to get the shift covered and we made the two hour drive (possibly a little more thanks to SoCal traffic) up to Santa Barbara. We ate at this really cute restaurant, Blush, off the main street before we headed over to the show. 

Incubus started off their set with three huge hits and they just kept coming. I haven’t seen them play in a while but let me just tell you, they were as wonderful as ever and Brandon was as beautiful as ever. I used to have the biggest crush on him. I guess some things never change…
