Some friends and I went to the Art in the Streets exhibit at the Moca not too long ago. It was amazing looking around at all of the different work. There was a timeline that you could follow and different sections for each artist or similar styles. Banksy had a few pieces there as well. It’s only $10 to get in but if anyone is in the LA area and goes on a Monday, it’s free now through August 8th. Banksy is sponsoring the free admission and had this to say about it: “I don’t think you should have to pay to look at graffiti. You should only pay if you want to get rid of it.” 

I love that my friends and I have been branching out and doing different things. A bunch of us got a membership to LACMA when there was a deal on Livingsocial. We’re going to go see the Tim Burton exhibit soon which should be insanely good. It’s just nice to get out of your bubble once in a while and do different things.
