Birthday Rapture

I tried posting this a week ago right when my internet went out. Well my neighbor’s internet went out, so I guess I can’t really complain. Oh well.

My friends and I took the metro from Koreatown to downtown LA for some rapture fun. We went drinking at La Cita and dancing at Bar 107. Red Bull was having a soap box race but we managed to miss most/all of it. We did find some scantily clad, spartan winners to take a group photo with though.

My actual birthday consisted of a steak dinner cooked by my lovely friend, Alexis, and then a surprise party at Drew’s house. I’ve never had a surprise party before since I’m always the crazy party planner girl. I took a year off. Anyway, the surprise party had pink balloons/streamers, as well as an array of delicious desserts. My wonderful friends filled my belly with all the sweets and whiskey/tequila it could stand and off to karaoke we went! I woke up hangover- free, which I was pretty proud about.

Today will consist of The Love Ones vintage store grand opening in Pasadena and then a couple of parties at friends houses. I didn’t buy a coconut bra for the luau themed one, so they’ll just have to take me in my ruffle dress. I’m going to start actually using my Canon Rebel, James Dean, so hopefully I’ll have some good pictures from the events (If you get the name, I love you).

Hearts,
Kimberly Grace
