It was in a dream….

I would live by the beach if it weren’t so far from everything else. I’d love to be able to wake up and just stare out at the sea. I’ve been all over the world and yet my favorite vacations have always been beach side. Give me salt water, sand, and preferably some sort of blended alcoholic beverage and I’m happy. 

Keiko and I took a little trip to Newport Beach while she was here to visit with the lovely ladies over at BB Dakota. It was perfect timing because while my friends back in the valley were posting about it hitting 100 degrees, I was having a mini vacation in the cool ocean breeze (Just call me Mrs. Suess). We ate a ton of delicious food including a slice of pineapple upside down cake and got to try on a bunch of amazing clothes. The shirt from my last post was actually one of them and it takes everything in me not to wear it every day. I’m obsessed. 

Since I’m probably skipping Fashion Week, I’m hoping that Will and I can have a little beach getaway next month for our one year anniversary. Keiko and I are also planning a road trip for November so that should hopefully keep my wanderlust at bay.
