Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. It’s not.
The Lorax is my all time favorite book. When I was a kid, I don’t think I even fully understood it completely, but my dad loved it and so did I. I have my copy from back then and a newer one as well. It’s fun to see how worn the old one is. How much love it has gotten over the years. I almost brought my Lorax stuffed animal to Universal on this day, but decided against it. I did, however, wear my Lorax shirt. After allowing Will to drag me onto Tranformers, the Mummy, and the Simpsons, it was I, not the Barbaloots, that had crummies in my tummy. The Curious George water area and the costumed characters are more my speed. I’m a five year old. When I met the Lorax and he saw himself on my shirt, we became best friends. We bowed, laughed, danced, and I definitely almost cried. LOVE HIM.
I’m off to Carlsbad for a birthday get out of LA trip with Will. I see beaches, ice cream, and alcohol in my future and it looks glorious.
Hearts,
Kimberly Grace
