I was never much of a shoe girl. I can remember a time when I had my converse and my suede slouch boots on a pretty steady rotation. I always wondered what made some women go crazy for shoes. The ones who have separate closets for them or a different heel for every outfit. I could barely walk in heels, so it was for the best back then.
My how times have changed! I don’t know when it happened or how my wallet will ever forgive me, but I got bit by the shoe bug. I want every lace up, buckle up, heel, boot, and wedge. The more unique, the better. It’s going to make moving semi difficult, but it’s worth the extra hassle. Below are my Seychelles Romance boots previously seen in my Fashion’s Night Out post. When Keiko got them in brown, I knew I had to have the black ones! I’d been looking for a more feminine lace up black boot. I’m in LOVE. I already decided my next pair of Seychelles would be the Enigma boots in teal.

These pictures are from my last day at Fashion Week. Keiko and I got to go in the American Express skybox for a Q & A with Mickey Boardman from Paper Magazine. We stopped outside to take photos and some woman came up to me and asked if she could see my skirt because she loved it. She fully lifted up the top layer to see the underneath one. It was so random. Thankfully the skirt is two full layers and not sewn together or sheer on the bottom one. That would have been a completely different kind of fashion show!
