I had the best summer of my life last year out on the Vans Warped Tour. I knew when I didn’t take a job on tour this year, that I absolutely had to go visit all of my friends from last year. I was so happy that all of my boys in The Exposed (www.myspace.com/theexposed) were there again. They are all in the picture above with me and my best partner in crime, Allison. It was so wonderful having a day to watch some of the bands (a rarely attained luxury when you’re working on the tour.) And I was excited that I came out on a day with a late bus call because I got to hang out at the BBQ, drink, and dance all night. 

I also got to see Bryce and my favorite bunny, Tara. I was bummed that I missed Bryce’s set. To be honest, I forgot he was playing! And with Warped Tour, it’s hard because the set times change every day. I love his band though. He’s ridiculously talented. Check out some of his songs at www.myspace.com/therocketsummer. 

Hopefully I’ll be able to get on tour again within the next year. There was something wonderful about waking up in a different city every day. It was weird how quickly I adapted to life on tour. I’m the kind of girl who wants all her makeup, clothing, and random crap with her at all times. So the fact that I was able to pack just one suitcase… ok maybe one suitcase and a huge tote bag… and leave for two months on tour was really shocking. I was so proud of myself. And let’s be honest: my tan has NEVER been as good as it was on Warped Tour!
