My cousin, Peter, got married last month. My mom and dad flew up from Florida and then we rented a car to drive upstate. The wedding was beautiful! They said their vows outside by a lake with musicians, family, and friends circled around them. Then the reception was in a big barn. I got to see family members that I haven’t seen in 12 years! Crazy. 

Peter’s mom kept trying to set me up with all of Peter’s college friends. I was literally mid bite into a cookie my dad had just given me, when I was introduced to a boy named Will. We ended up hanging out for most of the wedding, even doing the Virginia Reel (line dancing) and taking a dip in the lake. He lives in Ohio though so I doubt it would work out! Haha. My Aunt MaryAnn told me that next time she sees me, she hopes I have a nice job and boyfriend. Why does everyone want me to date so much?! My mom keeps telling me to find a guy on the internet. 

The photo with my dad was from the day before when we went out to dinner. There’s something very relaxing about driving to a small town and just staying in a hotel and going out to eat. I love being with my parents. They’re insane. They joke back and forth and I swear I was laughing the whole drive up.
