All Grown Up
I was never much of a shoe girl. I can remember a time when I had my converse and my suede slouch boots on a pretty steady rotation. I always wondered what made some women go crazy for shoes. The ones who have separate closets for them or a different heel for every outfit. I could barely walk in heels, so it was for the best back then.
My how times have changed! I don’t know when it...
Keiko was holding out!
I snagged a few more pictures relevant to my last post from Keiko’s blog. The first and last are my favorites. That statue can keep a secret!

Plant your hope with good seeds
I found this dress at a vintage shop around the corner. It wasn’t even out on the racks yet. The owner brought it over to me and told me she just got it and thought I should try it on. It’s currently one of my favorite and most flattering things that I own. So thank you Suzette!
The above pics were from when Keiko’s sister, Tessa, and her friend, Ally, were in town. We went...
All the pretty girls on a Saturday night
(Keiko, Bobby, Kim, Rich)
(Melanie {P.S. I freaking love this girl!})
(Elizabeth, me, and Keiko)
(Jennie, Nadia, Gemma, me, and Chantal)
So there were a few boys sprinkled in there but I like that lyric from FUN. I meant to post these right after the last post but it’s been crazy over here. These pictures are all from the Modcloth party during Fashion Week. It was so...
Forever if I could, forever if I may...
Last Saturday was the Modcloth party, held at Ten Degrees in the East Village. I’ll post actual pictures from the event in my next post. This one is just outfit photos. There were too many pictures to post altogether.
I’m enjoying the faded pink and purple in my hair while it’s there. I’ll be getting it redone soon and it’s going to be intense....
Happy Birthday BabyKeiks!
To my beautiful and talented roommate/best friend/partner in shopping crime,
I hope you have the most magical birthday ever! Let’s celebrate and stuff ourselves silly with funetti! I love you!

A night out on the (fashionable) town
So good news is that I’ve made sure to get more outfits photos and document what’s going on in my life. Bad news is that this post will not reflect that. But the next few will! Promise! These pictures are from Fashion’s Night Out which everyone has pretty much deemed “Halloween for grown ups.” Considering how many stores have gratis drinks and snacks, I’ll...
You hot bitch!
Keiko and I kicked off Fashion Week by attending the Independent Fashion Bloggers Evolving Influence Conference on Thursday. We were running late (as usual) so we hopped in a cab and skipped the regular outfit photos. I’m not sure if Keiko got any on her camera. The speakers were all really great and it was fun getting to see some familiar faces and make new friends.
The event was held...
Unsolicited Advice
So that’s basically it. This is my little gem of wisdom for you all. My mom happens to be the queen of unsolicited advice. Guess I’m following in her footsteps. :)

Mr. Handsome
Actually, his name is Otis. But have you looked at that face?! He’s one of my favorite parts about going home. He gets so excited when I walk in the door. I swear, dogs give the best welcome home ever. His is always complete with snorting, and if you’re lucky, he’ll howl for you too!
I miss my little guy. I can’t wait to see him when I’m home for Amanda’s...
